Worth the ritual.
“Abroad we drank bright green matcha, full and soft, without bitterness. In the Netherlands we couldn't find that quality. So we went looking for it ourselves.”
For a year and a half we searched and tasted. Then we tested our matcha for nine months with real guests before it went on sale. If a batch doesn't meet our standards, it doesn't get the Unmatched name.
Our standard
One thing. Done really well.
First harvest. Carefully selected. Traditionally stone-ground. Soft umami, nothing added. If a batch doesn't meet our standards, it doesn't get our name.

Not rushed. Not ordinary. Not chosen because it's everywhere. We look for the right harvest, the right colour, the right taste. From Kagoshima, Japan, to your daily cup.
